Atheists: Have you ever played the good samaritan?

When I talk to atheists, most of them say they have good morals (or at least some kind of civil decency) towards other fellows. And for those who say morality is a concept, or say nothing is good or evil we make it so, in my opinion that's extremely backwards thinking and quite degenearate. Back to topic, have you ever done a genuine deed of kindness towards another fellow? Even if he was religious or whatever.
